- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- Gel food coloring (optional)
- Easter sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
- Beat butter, oil, and sour cream until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and gently flatten each cookie.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool completely.
- Prepare buttercream, tint if desired, frost cooled cookies, and finish with sprinkles.

- Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors.
