Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients alternating with milk.
- Fold in crushed Oreos gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool before frosting with whipped cream.
Notes
- Make sure to use softened butter for the best texture.
- For added flavor, you can mix in some chocolate chips.
