Description

A delicious and nutritious green juice made with fresh vegetables and fruits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root
  • 1 green apple (Granny Smith)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup spinach or kale
  • 1 cup water (adjust for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the ginger using the edge of a spoon and chop it into smaller pieces.
  2. Slice the cucumber and green apple into manageable chunks. If using kale, remove tough stems; spinach can be added whole.
  3. In a blender, combine cucumber, ginger, apple, lemon juice, spinach or kale, and water. Blend until smooth.
  4. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  5. Taste the juice; add more water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  6. Serve immediately over ice, garnished with mint leaves if desired.
