A delicious and nutritious green juice made with fresh vegetables and fruits.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root
- 1 green apple (Granny Smith)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup spinach or kale
- 1 cup water (adjust for consistency)
Instructions
- Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the ginger using the edge of a spoon and chop it into smaller pieces.
- Slice the cucumber and green apple into manageable chunks. If using kale, remove tough stems; spinach can be added whole.
- In a blender, combine cucumber, ginger, apple, lemon juice, spinach or kale, and water. Blend until smooth.
- For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
- Taste the juice; add more water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Serve immediately over ice, garnished with mint leaves if desired.

- Adjust water for preferred consistency.
