- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and coat them with ranch seasoning on both sides.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux, then gradually whisk in chicken broth.
- Once thickened, add heavy cream while stirring until smooth.
- Slice or shred the baked chicken and serve topped with gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
