Description

Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies with a creamy texture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups Ghirardelli mini chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 drops lemon juice
  • ½ cup Ghirardelli mini chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter, sugar, brown sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy (no lumps).
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Put baking soda in the hot water and dissolve. Then add to the mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, blend flour, salt and chocolate chips.
  6. Add to the other mixture and with the mixer, blend on low speed until well combined.
  7. Roll cookie dough into large balls and place each one in each muffin tin compartment.
  8. Place tin in the oven and bake for about 4 hours.
  9. Serve and enjoy every bite!

  • Customize by adding nuts or other mix-ins if desired.
