Description

These delectable meatballs are coated in a tangy cranberry barbecue sauce, making them perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs cooked meatballs (about 4050 meatballs)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (Kansas City-style or ketchup and molasses based)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (or cranberry jelly)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Cook the meatballs according to package instructions (about 12-15 minutes for oven or air fryer cooking methods).
  2. Meanwhile, add the remaining ingredients to a small saucepan. Whisk together over low or medium heat until it reaches a low simmer.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Toss the cooked meatballs together with the cranberry barbecue sauce until fully coated and glazed.
  5. Transfer to a large serving bowl or keep warm in a crock pot or slow cooker.
  6. Serve with cocktail skewers or large toothpicks.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding a dash of hot sauce to the barbecue sauce.
  • These meatballs can also be served over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
