Description

Delicious and fluffy banana donut holes, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for dusting)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole or buttermilk)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease mini muffin pans or use silicone molds.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Mix in the melted butter and egg until well combined.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of the prepared pans about ¾ full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack.
  7. Roll warm donut holes in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon for added sweetness.
