A delicious cheesy garlic baguette, perfect as a side or appetizer.

- 1 French baguette (12 inches)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and mix in minced garlic until fragrant.
- In a bowl, combine grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
- Top with the cheese mixture and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- This bread is best served warm and fresh out of the oven.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
