Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack mix)
- 1 ready-made pie crust
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add chopped onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning and black beans; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Roll out the pie crust in a greased baking dish and fill it with the beef mixture. Top generously with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
